At Community-Media.com we believe in Participatory Media, especially Community Radio, and have spent much of our lives producing radio programs, managing radio stations, and offering training and advice to community broadcasters in Canada and abroad. Over the years we have come to believe that the most important part of any radio project is the people who are involved, and that radio can be a creative and artistic medium, not just a vehicle for music and information.

We’re pleased to announce that after a longer than planned delay we are beginning to return our many Community Radio resource pages to the web.

There will be more content resurfacing in coming weeks, so spread the word.

Once you have read these guides we can help you with…

  • FM Radio Broadcasting
  • Community radio licensing and development
  • Temporary FM Radio Stations for Special Events
  • Board Development and Meeting Facilitation
  • Long Term and Strategic Planning
  • Fundraising and Grant Writing Workshops
  • Manuals and handbooks
  • Web site Design and Consulting
  • Media Relations Workshops, especially for Non-Profit Group
