2006-633 Club de solidarité du Bois-Joli inc., Trois-Rivières, Quebec. APPROVED – New French-language, low-power, specialty FM radio programming undertaking in Trois‑Rivières. The licence will expire 31 August 2013.
The new station will operate in a specialty talk based format. According to the applicant, the station will serve primarily the students of a primary school and, during its broadcasts, which will occupy approximately four hours per week, approximately 90% of its airtime will be devoted to Spoken Word (category 1), as set out in Revised content categories and subcategories for radio, Public Notice CRTC 2000-14, 28 January 2000 (Public Notice 2000-14). The applicant does not anticipate broadcasting during school breaks.
Programming will consist of sports and cultural reports, poetry and recorded or live interviews. The applicant indicated that the grade six students in communications will create a 15-minute live broadcast, which will be rebroadcast twice daily.
