E-Learning
Resources
Note:
This page of resources was created to help a client to understand what
resources were available for a small e-learning project. Think of it as
our notepad for keeping track of links and ideas.
http://www.elearnspace.org/
Lovely step by step resource that contains a wealth of information in
a well organized fashion. This is probably a good place to begin searching
for answers and concepts.
http://www.managersforum.com/Links/ResultKeyword.asp?Keyword=eLearning
A really interesting collection of links plus a bit of a glossary and
discussion of what e-learning is, and is not.

Company providing on-line course in a fairly conventional manner. Nothing
really innovative but worth skimming the demo.
http://www.e-learningguru.com

Basics for Newbies" in the Library". Also has articles on writing
e-learning RFPs and budgets.
http://www.knowledge-generation.com/
Knowledge Generation is a UK-based consultancy and coaching business specializing
in supporting organizations and individuals in making better use of their
knowledge. The discussion of Communities
of Practice is well worth reading.

positive user experience on the web.

http://www.SimpleLearningCreator.com
Rather simple html system. Flashcards
with Flash.
Blackboard
One of the big names in academic courseware. Probably way more than we
need and way more that we can afford. If though we were starting a University

WebCT
Another of the big names, and again, probably far more than AIR needs.
Open
Source or Free Software Packages
Moodle

Documentation seems good. Paid support is available. One good example
of the system is an on-line candle making course that you can examine
by registering here.

at MIT. It is fairly full featured. Outside companies may provide support.

support. demo
