Keeping the Canadian Spirit alive in Appalachia

Show # 29 July 4, 2001

So, how does a Canadian in Kentucky celebrate July 4th? I never figured it out.... but my nieghbours did it by blowing off a half a case of dynamite. And yeah, I really liked that song by Lenore, and did in fact play it twice.

Some notes: David Dondero is not Canadian, althoughhe's been seen around Bloomfield, Indiana, which is home to Secretly Canadian Records. His style of music and banjo is very cool.

Equation of State, The Wankin' Family, and the Burdocks are not even remotely folk. They are primo Halifax punk and ton's of fun.
