We manage sites for a number of groups, and can offer design, set-up, and ongoing maintenance for both large and small web sites.
When we take on a web project we start by talking to you.
We begin by asking about your organization, and about the people that will be visiting your web site. What will they need? How skilled are they on the Internet? What does your group want to communicate?
Why do you need a web site, and how big or complex does it need to be?
Also important is to decide who will be maintaining and updating your web site. Do you have a staff person to do this? A volunteer? Will you want to hire someone to do some or all of this work?
Only once we can answer these questions will we begin to suggest ideas for your web site.
Training and Advice
Baffled by blogs and RSS feeds? Don’t know or care about HTML or Flash? You shouldn’t need to learn all of these things for your group to have a web site.
We’ll teach you what you need to know, in simple and understandable language, and won’t bury you with jargon and Geek Speak.
We believe that web sites should be easy to use, and your visitors shouldn’t need special knowledge or exotic hardware and software.
Services We Offer
We can arrange to have your new web site designed by a graphics professional, or can help to use your existing logos and graphics within a simpler template.
We can work with you to decide just what you need - and don’t need - in your web site, and how to do that with a minimum of muss and fuss.
We can teach your people how to do regular updates, and help you choose a web site design that makes that easy.
If you have more complex needs we can help you to add forms, private web areas, discussion boards, and other elements.
